The Wise Man

The wise man built his house upon the rock. That's from the story Jesus told to teach a lesson - hear His word and use it and you will be like the wise man who built his house upon the rock. You'll stand firm. I was reading this story to Kai last night. At the end of the second telling (we go through stories a zillion times because there is always an "Again!" when I finish), I asked, "So Kai, which house would your rather have when the storm comes? The house on the rock that stays standing and is safe and sound or the one on the sand that goes splat?" His wise reply: "The one that floats!"
