Kai and Steve like to yell out numbers on speed limit signs when we're driving around. It's a great game for practicing numbers. Here is a conversation they had in the car today after playing the speed limit numbers game for a while:
Steve: "See, Kai, practicing something makes you good at it. What do you want to practice?
Kai: "I would like to practice being nice to my sister. I'm not very nice to her."
Be still my heart.
Of course, in the same afternoon, when Maryn wanted to examine his new toy train, he snatched it away from her even as she was allowing him to check out her new toy helicopter.
